ドイツ出身のメロディアスへヴィメタルバンドの2ndアルバムです。元HelloweenのギターのRoland GrapowとドラムのUli Kuschが中心となって結成されたバンドですが、ヴォーカルにThe SnakesのJorn Landeということなので、楽しみにしていました。(robbitさんより紹介してもらました。感謝！)
ジャーマンメタル臭さは良い意味であまり感じられず、Jornを生かす中音域を強調したハードロックっぽい曲が多いです。このヴォーカルは今のへヴィメタル界では珍しく中音域を歌い上げるタイプで、曲がミディアムテンポでだるくなりそうでも、聞き応えが十分にあります。
ありきたりのスピードメタルにはならず、曲もよく考えて作られていて、本当に素晴らしいアルバムです。はっきり言うと、このヴォーカルはモロ僕の好みです。(^^)

Masterplan聴かれましたか〜。1stはKiskeも参加していたこともあってHelloween色が強かったのですが、今作ではよりJornの声に合った音楽になっていると思います。
